February has been a great month in terms of staff recognition. Several members of staff were recognized by their peers for their hard work and dedication:
Diana Pellegrino, seventh grade humanities teacher received the Sontag Prize in Urban Education. Boston Public Schools (BPS) teamed up with the Lynch Foundation to offer the Sontag Prize in Urban Education, a new competitive award that recognizes outstanding teaching in Mathematics, English Language Arts (ELA), and other disciplines and gives highly successful educators the chance to share best practices with their peers. The program is also generously supported by the Boston Teachers Union, Harvard Business School, and the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Keith Burnam, co-founder and school leader has been recognized as one of the Charlotte Business Journal's 40 Under 40.
